Overview
Managerial finance builds upon accounting data (past performance) to include business segment analysis, break-even analysis as well as forecasts and trends to provide management tools to run the business versus just reporting the historical results.
Why is this session important?
Often business leaders limit themselves to the accounting data provided for their financial statements, and while this information is necessary, it is often not sufficient to run your business. Business leaders must develop supplemental management reporting that can be used to measure and drive the intended business results that shows up in the accounting data.
